Problem with VirtualdubMOD.

Its seem a problem for avisynth 2.

When i run virtualdubmod.exe, the program repost me an "error tab" that i cant run vdmod. At present, virtualdub still work. Its not a big deal, but avisynth seem meet a same problem, that i cant play with media player classic or vdub. I use Win-XP SP2. Please help!



PS: my englist not 2 good, hope yu can understand

If you meet it, un-install the old ver AviSynth and install new AviSynth 2.5.8.

Hi gonwk.

I think this thread cant help. The problem still happen. I think my prob come from the Operation System, not from the codecs. I make a try on google and find out that several men met the same prob like me, not with vdubmod, but with another program.

About my avisynth version, its 2.5.5, but i install new 2.5.7 at morning, after reading your question about ver of avisynth

Anyway, thank for your help. About me, I live in VN, Microsoft Software is not a prob for me. If i still cant fix it, i just wait for a month (cos im so lazy now and need times to collection DVD ) and re-install Windows XP Old Version, its just cost me near 1$.

Re-download VirtualdubMod and see what happens with the new VirtualdubMod.exe.

Glad to see someone all the way from Vn get here, I dont know much with VirtualdubMod, what exactly what you want to do? also you can try VLC to play and have you use dvd flick?

OMG, i fix it. The problem comes from AviSynth.

Screenshoot what extractly what happen:
- Install Avisynh 2.5.7, cant run VubMOD.

But all things go to bad now... cos i need avisynth T_T

NightTran: are you a Vietnamese too ? With me, vdub or vdubmod are fine, vdubmod have a few things i need like ad audio without re-encode, output mkv, etc... Go back to vdub or vdub-mpeg2 is ok but i really really need avisynth for edit. VLC cant play .avs, maybe in my system has something wrong that could make avisynth work bad.
