Hi all!
I have a little question:
In the past I have been using EasyJoiner to join my DivX-encoded files and often it was succesfull. I know that the files must be exactly same (bit rate and so on). Now I tried to join two avi-files encoded in XviD and these were exactly the same (bit rate and so on) but EasyJoiner failed to join them. I never managed to join two XviD filed in EasyJoiner so I wonder, is it possible to do that and if it is, what kind of software do I need?

Thanx in advance

(I assume you have an XviD codec installed on your system - not just the FFDShow filter)

Joining two .AVIs can be accomplished in VirtualDub (or any of its variants) by simply:

1) Loading the first file and then, from the "File" dropdown menu selecting "Append .AVI segment" and loading the second file.

2) Set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy"

3) Save with a new filename

Hi, unfortunately, I only have ffdshow so that I can watch XviD movies. Where can I get this XviD codec? It might be the reason for this problem.

"Where can I get this XviD codec?"

Perform a Googlesearch...

"It might be the reason for this problem."

No - It IS the reason for this problem...
