    I'm going crazy! (Subtitle problem)

    Hi everyone ...

OK this is the first time I've encountered this problem. On this particular DVD that I ripped using Smartripper, when I open the file in Flask (0.594, intel-optimized binary), not all the subtitles appear. On average, it seems like 1 out of 2 of em appears, and the other one doesn't.

I have totally no idea how to fix this, as it's the first time I've encountered this kind of problem. Is it most probably a problem to do with the ripping process? Or is it just Flask that's decided to screw me? From reading all the guides I get the impression that if Flask can't do the subtitles properly there's nothing much I can do about it ... any help/ideas?

Another question: Let's say I want to insert my own subtitles directly into a AVI/DivX file (so that I can just open it using any media player rather than MicroDVD/subrip-style) ... is this possible? If so, where could I go and get information about it?

Thankss for taking time to answer my questions guys!

    Hi

Your problem is most likely caused by an error,
    in the ifo-parser in 0.594.

Try updateing to 0.6 and install the
    subtitles-fix for that version.
    (not the thunder.mism plugin,
that has even worse ifo parsing)
