warning message with MS MPEG-4 V3

    hi,

how come when i use the MS MPEG-4 V3 codec with VirtualDub this waring message always pops up: "Microsoft does not want MPEG-4 V3 to be used in AVI files. Windows Media Player will refuse to play the output file, and other applications may receive strange compression errors."
but my compressed files have been playing fine on Windows Media Player regardless, so does that mean i don't have to worry about this warning??

    thanks.

that's due to legal issues, that Avery Lee included that 'warning message'.
