+R book-type for +R media?

due to most of my players being able to read -ROM book-typed (default) burns on +R media, but one not wanting to read most i throw at it, i want to try burning my +R media as +R; not -ROM.

as illustrated here: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=74791 i should be able to, but the +R option is not available under +R media. Normal, -ROM, and +RW are the only options given.

i tried setting the +R book-type to normal, but that still resulted in a -ROM disc.

Booktype stuff for liteon drives is automatic with 2.3.2.0.

You'd need to go into the settings and disable it (in the 'Write' tab) for it to leave the booktype alone - then it'll go by whatever the drive settings are.
