non-existen WAV DEST in directshow filters

I need help in converting a wav file to avi.

I tried to use graphedit to do the trick, but when I reach the portion wherein I have to insert an audio filter, why does "WAV DEST" not included in my directshow filters? where do i get them?

    Please help.

    Tnx a lot.

"I need help in converting a wav file to avi"

You don't convert an audio file to a video file!

Assuming that you already have the pins connected (correctly) in Graphedit and that the only element you are missing is the 'Wavdest' filter, it is a simple matter of downloading and registering the said filter into your system.

        Here is a copy.

        Regards.
