A black box always appears at the botton, keeping me from using the program because I just can't see the subtitles. Plz help, I really like Media Subtitler... It's the only good one out there.

you can see the big box where the subtitle should be

I did try couple of thing in the "General configuration" but did not work

The back box is used to display the subtitles actually... if it's not transparent, its because the overlay is being used by another application OR your hardware is so old that it does not support overlay.

Anyway, you can move the box position to appear as low as possible. Yet it should not bother because the subs are shown there as you apply / preview them.

      my computer is super new
and no, It won't show any subtitle on the preview...
and It wont show any sub even if I save it and try to run it normally with WMP or BSP.
The subtitle show only when I'm holding the "Apply" button, but thats it.
      now what should I do

That's the normal program behaviour... I don't know what you expect the software to do. I assume you are not loading the subtitle file or something.

ok... this is the second time i've installed the program, and it's not the normal program behaviour, the first time I did I could use it perfectly with no black box at the bottom. And Im not loading the subtitle, but this will happen either if I create a new one, or load a old one. I doesn't matter, the black box will keep appearing, and this is not normal man!

Sorry, there's nothing else can tell you... except to try reinstalling your codecs, video drivers or Windows Media Player 11.

Lemme tell you... there was something you could tell me... if you knew about it. You just lack of knowledge about the program. It took me quite a bit, but I've solved the problem. I just had the do the right configuration in the Plug-in's menu.

                calai222,

Could you please tell me what you did to get of the black line? You mentioned the plugs-in menu. Please explain.

I have the same problem with this black line.

                Many thanks!
