When in DVD-lab Pro, you import the subtitles (srt), then press the "Generate Subtitles Stream" button, and it takes you to the "Generate Subtitles Stream" screen, with the option to save a file named *sp1.
Do not just press "save", since you will have no result. You need to name the file, that is, replace the *; for example: "movie.sp1". Of course, use the name of the subtitles document.
Then, the subtitles stream will be generated.
