    Many SRT subtitles in the same folder

    Hi there.

    I have tried to place some SRT subtitles in different languages in the same folder, but when playing the video it didn´t recognize them. I know that an AVI file will only recognize a SRT file if it has the same name of the video.

    Ex: movie.avi will recognize a SRT file named movie.srt

    Well, but what if i need to place more subtitles in different languages so that it will be available for many people.

    I have already tried to name it movie.en.srt, movie.fr.srt and so on, but as i told it didint turn out well.

    This way, what should i do? Is there any other format that is recognized by the avi file that i could use instead?

    If you have a player that recognizes XSub subtitles, like VLC player, use AviAddXSubs to add multiple subtitle tracks to the .avi. I think it can produce XSubs with 8 different languages.
