cyclic redundancy error

This is something new. I have been using DVD Shrink for about 3 years now and this just started. I insert a DVD and click on my G drive and it gets to about 2% and hangs up and then a box appears and says "cyclic redunancy error". It seems to happen to any DVD I try. Any suggestions. I am using windows 7 and it is up to date. I have an AMD quad core 1.8Ghz processor 4Gb memory and 1.5Tb of hard drive.
