Firmware installation

Hi, guys!! I found the firmware I needed for my burner (OPTIARC-AD-7560A-DX14.zip), but I don't know what to do next...
Where should I install it?

Hi and welcome to the forum, Renata Arantes!

Unpack the .zip file with a program like www.7-zip.org and then run the .exe file.

No disc in the burner
All other programs closed
Restart the computer after the update

I did what you said and it worked, but, after I restarted the laptop, I ran the ConvertXtoDVD just to check if it had changed..and the log appeared like in the attach... The "Optiarc blah blah" has not been showed..
Before that, when I opened the program, always appeared the firmware as "Optiarc etc"....
Is the log from the attach right? Or happened a error?

The log only shows that you have a burner, not what it's for model.

You can run this tool to find out the current installed firmware version.
