help please!

hi guys, i was told to download the latest firmware for my drive so i did, but it crashed during download and now the drive wont open! ive tried rebooting etc.. still nothing, i know its getting power because the led is on. any ideas on wats happened or how to fix it? cheers lee

Have you tried to reload the firmware if you can't the drive may be toast.

Some drives can use really low level tools that'll fix a 'bricked' drive. Do you know which drive you have/had?

Of course you might not need to worry about that if the drive can still be seen in windows (device manager... or even in the bios?!) and the flasher knows it's there.
