I'm sure some of you, like me turn off auto-updates. I hate things running in the background, it's my PC dammit! I'll run the update when I feel like it. Anyway I just read that m$ released some pretty significant patches yesterday for IE, DirectShow and the MSDTC and COM+ services. 9 security patches in all, 3 to fill some critical security holes. There are patches for everything from Win98 to Win server 2003, so I'd strongly suggest everyone to hit the windows update site and keep their system secure.
