Computer shuts down using any of DVD Software???

Hey guyz, i was regularly burning DVD's well with my computer and just recently a problem started. My computer shuts down when i try to burn any of the DVD files like .ISO image or .IMG image or so on and even when i try to use WINAVI to convert AVI files to DVD files , the computer gets shuts down. And i dont think so its cuz of my computer heating since if i dont use these softwares, my computer will never shut down for weeks, its just when i try to anything with DVD drive and winavi. Guyz please help as all my DVD burning is delayed and making my empty DVD dicks useless.Thanks.

I Never used a DVD dick before... (only joking)

It seems when your putting your CPU under full load the CPU temp will rise and so it shuts down.... (just a guess)

Have you any bios settings in place or software that will shut down the PC if the core temp reaches a preset or default temp???
