When running PGCEdit, system is locking up

To whom ever can help me,

When ever I run the wizard in PGCEdit its locking up at random points during the process. Once it'll locked during DVD Decrypt, next time it locked during the FIXVts portion. I was thinking it might be a over heating issue so more fans were intsalled and did not fix the problem. So then i thought it might be a hardware conflict, so I dumpped my system, formatted the drive. I reinstalled windows then just the software needed for PGCEdit. (no drivers for printer, scanner, vid card, ect...), this did not fix the issue. So now Im under the belief thats its the software itsself. I'm not sure where to go from here. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

    Thank You,

Dosn't sounds as a heating problem. Ripping is not very processor intensive. The FixVTS is not running towards your reader/burner so it doesn't sound as a problem with those either.

What system are you running on? Windows XP? CPU?

    Done a memory check?

      Pentium 3.2 ghz HT
      512 Gig DDR2 mem
      Pioneer DVR-107D
      Windows XP Pro
      DVDShrink 3.2
      DVD Decrypter V 3.5.4.0

and this system takes 3 plus hours to rip and burn.

This has got me stumpped! Anyone have any ideas why a system that 2 times as fast as another is 3 times slower? Any help would be greatly welcomed!

      Thanks

This system has been together - going on almost 2 years

I was hoping for a quick fix, that card is a little power hungry
and if you had recently added it, I would suspect PowerSupply.
