Intel IDE/ATA drivers

Can someone direct me to a site where I can find updated drivers for:

Intel(R) 82801DBM Ultra ATA Storage Controller - 24CA

I have searched Intel support sites and others but with no luck.

I believe the last driver version for this controller was 5.1. whereas I am using version 4.0.

Motherboard model?

Chipset : Intel 855PM Chipset
Memory Controller : 82855PM
I/O Controller : 82801DBM (1CH4M)

try rolling back to the default MS ones for the ide controller

could be you were using MS's default driver. what's wrong with your current one? if you can't find it at intel's site, tried windows update?

The driver is by Intel, digitally signed by Microsoft.

Nothing is wrong but the new driver might improve performance.

I ran Driver detective and its showing that this driver is old.
