Sometimes you have to press Alt+Ctrl+Delete simultaneously and consecutively to make it work. Actually these actions are used to open the Task Manager which can be done by right-clicking the taskbar and select the Task Manager
I am afraid that your PC has already been infected by some kind of virus, trojan, or spyware that blocks the windows Task Manager. Please try have a complete virus check. It is very common for spyware to disable the Task Manager and keep it from opening. Therefore, spyware checking is definitely needed
recipe for disaster, install spybot and activate teatimer, do windows update
then install and activate norton's av and update with reboots while teatimer is active.
And like a big furry idiot I had to duplicate several times to confirm.
