its simple,it mostly happens during or after the use of dvddecrypter...my nec nd2510 drive just dissappears ot the system...then i run hardware assistant which founds it

usually winxp does it itself,so i never thought i should have some special drivers installed too...Comment

After a fresh boot, and just letting Dvdd work on the files does it
do it? I mean letting it finish, without doing anything else?Comment

after a boot its ok,i was thinking and i figured out, it could have sth to do with me, changing some of the bios settings some time ago,and i had no idea,i just enabled everything that sounded good
i think that too had sth to do with nero or imgbrn not burning my image files recently(they would just stop...brn speed 0x etc),so today i reset bios to defaults,and till now,everything seemes ok,perhaps that had something to do with this drive problem....Comment
