    Register Cleaner

    Hi

Can anybody give me some good, reliable choices for a Registry Clean-up utility?
The last one I used (on my newly retired computer) blew up my MSoffice so I had to uninstall and re-do.
That program was MS RegClean Ver 4.1a.
they dont support it no more, I can see why.
I need to clean-up my new computer after blowing out a lot of pre-installed stuff and playing around with a lot of trial-ware and free-ware.
Anyhow, Cheap is good, free is better, trouble-free is priceless..

    edit:title: was Register Cleaner

    Thankyou

    Hope this helps

This program that I use called Ccleaner hopefully will help you out. It gets rid of files you never even knew you had taking up space on your hard drive. Also it has a very good registry editor. Best of all its free, and has no adware or spyware. You can find it here. http://www.ccleaner.com/
Let me know if it helps

      Check out this post....

Does anyone know of a reliable utility to clean my registry of all those entries of uninstalled softwares. PS: I currently use easy cleaner and ccleaner, but they dont seem to scan all the hives.

      Use the search

no problem, I would put my money on Abexo amongst the lot. You can use the fully functional trial for a one time cleaning/testing but if you intend to use it regularly, buy it.

Actually I don't ever wanna use it, thats a spooky area of a computer, kinda like a dark alley, but I think I need to go there. carefully with a big gun.

I googled Abexo, and there is a lot of different sights, where did you get yours, now I suppose you will say Abexo.com and I wil feel stupid, again.
hmmmmm pctools, now there is a name thats been around a long time..

now I will go clean my "registers" LOL
