    Has anyone successfully used HDDRegenerator?

I have a couple of drives that might benefit from the claims of this software, but don't want to spend the money unless it works. does anyone have any experience with it. thanks for any comments.

    from their web site:

Almost 60 % of damaged hard disks can be repaired by regeneration.
price is a little high for something that has ~50% chance of working, not to mention its job can probably be done just as well with chkdsk.

do you have bad sectors? tried chkdsk?

btw, the app has a trial, which
display a report which contains information about the possibility to regenerate the entire disk by means of the registered full version

I used it to repair a hard drive over a year ago. It's still running fine today.

I would try the manufacture's utility for full format(write test?), it's free.
Not a true low level format anymore.
