windows media sound issue

sorry if this is wrong forum

anyways, i ripped the sum 41 live album to my pc. the vocals dont sound correct on windows media 10. they're alot quieter. if i listen to them on other players they're fine. ive fully updated my drivers and wmp10, and the equalizer has nothing to do with it. any suggestions?

probaby because the audio decoder doesnt do 5.1. find out whatever is decoding the audio and set it up for 5.1 playback

ive got the same problem with my xp media the play back is horrible and distorted, i havent found anything out about it...
