I was going to install WMP9 on my dad's new laptop, as 10 sucks. But, you can't remove 10 as "it comes bundled with Windows". Is there a way to manually kill it?

If you have installed Windows Media Player 10, you can roll back to the version of the Player that was on your computer before installing Windows Media Player 10.To roll back from Windows Media Player 10 to a previous version, do the following:

How much do you want to bet that it came with WMP10?
Seriously, go to any computer store, look at the new PCs. They all have WMP10 by default.CYA Later:

How old is your PC?
The laptop is like a week old. See, I doubt most of you have new PCs like that, so that's why. My mom's HP (6 months old) has 9 on it.
I should start an Anti-WMP10 petition and send it to Microsoft. WMP10 sucks, so I am serving the WMP9 XP installer around the Net for anyone who wants it (PM me)CYA Later:

My laptop is only six months old so it must be a new thing if it does come with WMP10 now.
