i don't know why but all my bookmarks made in firefox are gone i didn't delete them they just vanished and there used to be a button i would click to see all the latest news and that went as well,wtf happened?

Did you tick in folder attributes to show hidden files?
Start>Settings>Control Panel>Folder Options>View>Tick "Show hidden files and folders"

My bookmarks have been known to disappear when loading Firefox. A quick exit and re-load sorts it out and brings them back.Comment

i've tryed defragging virus scans spware scans and i still can't fix this problem, its really frustrating!

well this is going to be complicated, I suspect you have a memory problem(ram), the 128 meg stick is not reporting in the spd tables, pull it from the computer.
the cpu is running hot, have you cleaned out dust lately?
