know any software for arranging lists alpabetically

Does anyone know of a good, and when I say good I mean cheap, program that will arrange a list of words alphabetically for me? I see this notepad program that came with the PC but it does not look that fancy.

Yep, any simple spreadsheet program should be able to do it...wordperfect should do this as well.

                    Office Excel
Open Excel>type items in cells descending #1 thru whatever number> highlight cells you what alphabetized>Go to "Data" in toolbar>click "Sort">this will prompt you for how you want it alphabetized. Very easy to use!
Save your list first just in case you make a mistake in how you sorted.

Most computers have a basic version of similar programs already installed when you buy them.

note pad won't do anything, neither will word pad. you must have either excel, word, or word perfect on your pc, right?
