In powerdirector 5, it automatically scans the entire video clip in the timeline and adds a waveform so you can see the audio visually.
Is there a way to disable this, since it lags like crazy when it wants to scan the video file to show the waveform.
I've checked all in the options and there isn't any "disable waveform" or anything.
My video is on an external usb2.0 hard drive and my video is raw avi format with a 8 mb/sec bit rate so I don't have to worry about the lag associated with compression when editing
