power director sound problem

hi !i have power director 5 on my system,everthing works fine apart from adding background music to the start menu.after i choose the song it loads the full track, but when i click ok it jumps to only 10 seconds of play.ive tried converting the song to wave but still does the same.has anyone experienced this problem?

there s nothig in the settings to change the audio lenth.help! ive got a wedding to video next month and i need the sound working on the menu section.anyone else having problems with this?

Ur menu is a still image?There is a default setting for duration of a still image .May be that is the problem?

thanks for replying.ive tried every setting you showed ,still cant get the song to go over 10 seconds,i really think the program flawed in some way.

ok i have now found out how to set the audio length,you can set it as high as 99 sec.(see screenshot)hope this helps others that have had the same problem.
