software recomendations

i would need someone to recomend a good software for:

internet traffic control(counter) - i used net limiter,but it was crashing all the time - i connect to net via wireless adapter and router/modem

and a

maintenence software for windows - like the tools in norton system works.that would find and fix errors in windows registry,filesystem etc...
