I told you to do windows update first

that's ok danny, it's a learning process, once i took 3 tries to get a good load on a new computer

major companies screw this up all the time, that's why I build and load my own

download the full SP2 installer, safer & you'll be much better prepared next time

I mean as far as getting files from other people, if they are using port 59, and I have it closed, I can't connect to them.

@Chewy, I still have McAfee open, but that's all... and by first what did you mean, the files are still on the drive as I backed them up there... all I installed is antivirus, MS Office, and the Dell installed stuff like Roxio and PowerDVD.
I am installing like 50 updates, as that's what it showed as available.

@anon, what SP2 installer, all I could find is the network installer, and the way to install SP2 through Windows Update.
