On my Dell Laptop I only have 1 Ins key and its the 2nd from the right, from right to left it goes Del, Ins, Pause\Break, Prt Sc\SysRq, then F12\Scroll Lock , then F11\Num Lock. It all depends on the keyboard or laptop mfr I guess.

                          From wikipedia here

The number of keys on a keyboard generally varies from the standard 101 keys to the 104 windows keyboards all the way up to 130 keys with many programmable keys. There are also compact variants that have fewer than 90 keys. They are normally found in laptops or in desktop computers with space constraints

@jm, they all change. I too am on a Dell Laptop and my Ins key is above the Del key. Del is next to F12, and above them I have another row with Ins, prnt Scrn, and the others in it.

@copyless - yeah they change from model to model, mfr to mfr. I got 5 easy launch keys above the f key row, mail, internet, and 3 programmable keys.
I'm just so glad the Dvorak keyboard never replaced the QWERTY keyboard.
