    A new burner ???

Hi folks. Can anyone tell me if LG burners are any good. Am thinking of buying one (UK) at around £40 which can read and write RAM discs, so I can copy my own DVD players RAM discs on my PC.....It also does DL- discs, sorry do not have model number yet.... Thanks.

I've used an LG DVDRAM GSA-4163B for over a year now. It works just fine. Originally I wanted it for the 16x and the RAM ability, but I've found that I don't use the RAM much.

Unfortunately all burners seem to need that sooner or later, LG is good about supporting their drives. As long as it says LG, and some other company hasn't bought it and relabeled it(like HP).

What does Chewey think of this LG, the AVI to DVD would be usefull.
