    That's not the log we are looking for...try here:

    Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt

    Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt

      dma log

      i think i got the dma log ?

      In my c:\programs\ahead\nero..........there isn't any history log in there.

      I uninstalled the prevous nero 6.6.1.4 and clean up the registery and everything .

          i guess what i am going to have to do ( AGAIN ) is try to uninstall the dma setting of ( 6 ) and hope i get the computer to respond this time , so that i won't have to re-install windows again. ! ! ! !! !

              From the "session fixation error" in your screenshot, this would indicate a medium incompatability....I know you are using Verbs from your other thread and the Sony drive should have no problem with the discs. As Chewy stated there is probably something else wrong in your system....we need a log to take a look at.

                I have uninstalled the dma setting and right now windows xp can't find my primary ide channel.
                I have used my mother board cd ( gigabite ) and it can't find my primary ide channel. ANy suggestion in how i could find this again ?

                  Did you reboot after deleting your drivers? XP should automatically pick up the correct ones and install them with DMA enabled.

                    we need a log to take a look at

                    where do i go to get this log that you are talking about ?
                    Window's xp can't find the primary ide channel.......I have rebooted 3 times now, in order for window's to locate my ide ?

                      I guess it is time ( once again to re-format ) and install each program ( again ) and see which one is giving me the conflict

                        Is the drive seen in Device Manager? Have you recieved any code about the condition of the drive?
