OK so here is where I'm at...FahMon says console isn't running.

    [01:12:38] Completed 600000 out of 5000000 steps (12)

    Folding@Home Client Shutdown.
    Task manager says...

Is it running or not? I'm so confused....I rebooted at some point I know that is what the disconnected client shutdown message is, but I thought the program started where it left off upon reboot. If not how do I restart it and what is the FAHCore_78.exe that is running and what is it doing?

Did you install it as a service? If not it has to be manually restarted.

The FAHCores are downloaded when needed (there are a few of them) and started by FAH504-console.exe when folding.

In task manager/applications click on the FAH console and do a switch to. You should see a DOS window with a status.

The console runs from where it is installed. To manually start it find the .exe which is FAH504-Console.exe and create a shortcut to it on the desktop.

Not to jump topics, but keeping in what JM said about the servers being down a lot, this really seems the case. For instance:

[02:06:01] + Attempting to send results
[02:06:38] Error: Got status code 500 from server
[02:06:38] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
          [02:06:38] (171.65.103.160:8080)
[02:06:38] - Error: Could not transmit unit 00 (completed April 17) to work server.

I have checked the server and it is "full" but it is also "accepting"....is this one of those "military intelligence" kinda deals? (the joke was supposed be that it is an oxymoron..ha ha..ehh. )

            scratch the post again

I guess I should really read ALL the posts on the previous page before posting. I will just try and be patient until it actually gets sent.

Is there a way to obtain some of the bigger units to work on? I am not talking about the really big ones for dedicated machines, but I have completed 10 units and the biggest one I had was the last one worth about 300-some odd points. I can handle more of that in the 300 point range, but I am stuck doing these 186 point units.

When you ran the config did you say yeay to accepting big WU's?

if you have a shorcut to the console you can add after a space -config or you can add -configonly to redo the configuration. After you do it again you can delete the -config stuff.

                            ******************************

Seems the problem is still occuring for me and others to upload completed WUs. The servers I have trouble with are 103.100 and 103.106...they still have a heavy netload (a netload of 30 to 40 is normal) both these servers are above that still but not as high as before. One of the mods at the F@H forum said give it another day or so.

On one box I haven't been able to upload anything for like 2 days and have a 2913 and a 59% EUE 3040 in there and almost done a 2613

This is rather strange, it sent the WU just completed with no problem but yet again couldn't send the one that was in queue.
