If you were to load them into a spread sheet you could sort them. I down loaded "Open Office" it is a great free alternative to MS Word, Excel and the like.

Here is a link to their site.

The official home page of the Apache OpenOffice open source project, home of OpenOffice Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw and Base.

I alphabetised my DVD's ages ago and since then I got so many DVD's, they are a mess. I know I have The Incredibles on DVD but I cannot find it !!

My DVD profiler software has alphabetised them (see link below). I just need the energy to re-order them.

You have to log on to my proflier. Online - My Profiler. Then enter alias and password. Then you will have the option to upload and download the collection
To get the web address, you need to log on the Intervocative website.

Then select "My Profiler" and "Online Collection".

To view the collection online select "View your collection now".

This is what I use: http://www.dvdloc8.com/

You can sort them alphabetically or numerous different ways! You can even export the list in excel format. It also has tons of different stats for your DVD collection!

                  Here is my collection: http://www.dvdloc8.com/view_collection.php?userid=2902

I use Excel. I tried uploading to an online list back when I only had a few hundred, but they didn't have all the titles I did, and now I'm pushing 1,000, so I just keep up with them myself.

You have to use it's Excel equivalent. It's called Calc. It is also possible to create a new spreadsheet in any of the OO programs by clicking on File - New - Spreadsheet.

(left)Click on the last cell and hold, drag up to the top to highlight all in the row > on the tool bar there is a sort comand look under tools or edit. (i am at work right now and cant look for it) when you select sort it will give you some options, sort asending or desending once you choose it will perform the sort for you.
