    Free CD Label/Insert Software?

Anyone know of a good Free CD Label/Insert program? I am interested in printing inserts for the CD case, inserts that I can easily add track titles, etc.

What I am specifically looking for is to add the track titles/disc contents automatically, but my Nero label pgm. does not seem to want to co-operate when trying to do this, so I am looking elsewhere.

Roxio ECDC worked like a charm in this regard, but I understand the two pgms. will not play well together, so I didn't want to re-install it...

    All suggestions are welcome

    regards, katz

I found this freeware software. Ive never personally tried it, but it sounds interesting.

CD Stomper is good, I have the old one that worked great, maybe I can upload it?

(The software is free from them, but I have it on CD-ROM from a few years back, before they changed it to a different program)

Thanks guys, for all the great suggestions, I appreciate it!

I will have a look at them...

It still irritates me that I can't make Nero label behave properly; I fooled w/ it for a good long while, & it still will not load the disc contents/tracks into the label for me.

@drf - I have CD Stomper, I forgot that I did! I may dig it out & give it a try!

          Cheers, katz

              Ok, back again!

I still have not resolved this problem...I am trying to add the track titles/disc contents automatically, so I can print out jewel case inserts. Have been trying to do this with Nero 6, ECD Creator 6, & they will not import the track list.

Been working at this one for days. I have done it before with both programs many times before, but now the software seems unable to see/load the contents of the disc.

Oh yeah, I also have CD Stomper "Click n burn", again, no go...

Only thing diff. from before is now I have 4 burners/ previously had 2 & it worked fine.

Any ideas? What do you all use for jewel case insert printing?

              Thanks, katz

Yes. I am making a wav cd from mp3's, using Nero. I was fooling around with Nero last night, & I got the tracks to import once, but then I guess I selected the wrong paper format, because it all printed out in a small list on standard size paper.

When I tried to do the project again, I was right back where I started; couldn't get the track list to load...

                  Guess I'm overlooking something simple...

                      They are now;

Years ago, I didn't bother editing all that stuff & it all worked out fine. Over the last few months, I have been working at renaming, tagging, editing, & "cleaning up" my library of files.

So, yes, they are all properly i.d.

I was just now trying ESCD again (I know, one of your favorites

here is a screenshot of the message it gives me when trying to add the tracks, & I have tried it with a disc in every drive...

I held onto easycd for a long time just for the case inserts, use wallets now so it's not so critical

nero is a pain in the arse to use but once you get all the fine points not so bad!

yes, & I actually used epson "print cd" to print directly on printable Ty's with my epson r220; they came out very good, so now I am in the process of creating jewel case inserts...have read the Nero help/tutorial until my eyeballs hurt, & still it is hit or miss with the importing of the tracks...
