with some of these trojans I have had to do an update to the program,
disconnect from the internet and reboot into safe mode to kill the core downloader part
one nasty would not let me disconnect from the internet
This one interested me:

Let me just say it was less than reputable site. I thought I was clicking a download mpg file when a warning popped up that I did not have the right codec to play that 20 second "Video".
I thought I was downloading a codec file when it dropped all this into my computer. Surfer beware!Gary D

I rescanned my computer last night and again today, the results were...

all clear!!! Interesting results though!
Ewido anti-spyware and Trojan Hunter found the most originally (after Ad Aware and SpyBot had ranned on Friday) ! Even though not free, I am happy with those results. In November when my CPU hog No-ortons expires, out it goes for something with a smaller CPU footprint. Both Ewido and Trojan Hunter have wonderful updating systems. I will leave them on until they free test period expires!
Ad Aware I am not happy with and Spybot is better than Ad Aware. But it shows that two (or three) will miss some viruses, a fourth will find.
BTW: A very good learning experience Chewy! Thank you!
