What exactly is PAT??

Should this be enabled ??????? just curious as to what exactly PAT was.

Thanks Chewy. I had found vague references to it on Intels website but nothing that went into detail about whether it should be enabled or not..I had also found reference to the definition found by jamos so I was a bit confused on the subject.

PAT : performance acceleration technology is somthing in 875 chip not 865 but some companies made some changes to bios that make it available in 865 aswell.

when enabled u will gain 2 - 3 % of performance gain. but u need dual channel capable rams that is u should be using 2* 256 or 2* 512. Some ppl have problems with auto disabled PAt after using 4 ram modules.
