Has anyone used this? It looks interesting to use in the case of having to do a fresh install of Window$ XP for stuff after SP2. It looks like packages are put out monthly for updates and then a with a full install of updates so everything is in 1 package. Right now the last full install was August with monthly updates that were put out in September and October. The packages have a list of what that months Autopatcher contains

it looks like it would take a month of sundays to understand, kind of neat to archive and save for multiple uses, looks like we will be die of old age waiting for MS to release sp3, that's really the prefered solution after slipstreaming
it into your xp cab files for a true clean install. With all these patches your OS starts to look like a patch work quilt. -
From what I understand about it you can select what updates you want to install with Autopatcher. I think M$ is holding up the release of SP3 because of WGA and the money they are getting from people goin' legitNot registered Go here and click register to join the Digital Digest Forums

well I finally got a round tuit
I have had to reload so many computers lately heck if I am going to run windows update on them all, one guy even had dial up
The problem is do you mess the computer up with updates or take your chances with the internet hosing it
Well in one of my forum duties I went to what I considered a spam site and
surfed around, my computer has been acting funny ever since.
norton's and trojan hunter came up clean, but spybot hit the motherload, seems last months trojans have morphed into malware that flies under the radar and exploits vulnerabilities in IE.
one of the client computers I had fixed last month(no repair disk) is getting pop ups again, internet is getting more and more dangerousComment

I've used autopatcher for XP pro sp2. It works. Start with the latest Full version, then continue with monthly updates, pick and choose what you want, also contains extras and tweaks you may or may not want. So far I have had no trouble at all.Comment
