    need a bit of help

    it has been awhile since i have been on here and i know i will get help here.

    i have just borrowed NFS Carbon off my mate for the pc and i know this might sound abit daft but which graphics card is better out of these 2?

    NVIDIA Geforce4 Ti
    Nvidia Geforce fx5200

    help would be greatly appriciated

    Those are both good cards but I would take the geforce4 TI.
    That Texas Instruments chip is one powerfull and fast processor.
    They tried to Assimilate me and failed!

          You're right Chewy.
          And all this time I was under the impression that the TI Series was an Texas Instruments graphics processor OEM’ed to Nvidia.
          They tried to Assimilate me and failed!

              sorry to say i think neither will play it reasonably. the titanium is slightly faster than the 5200 but isn't dx9 compatible, it may not run newer games at all.

              i'd go with the 5200 just for dx9 and dxva. to play any 2005/2006 game at a reasonable res and framerate requires a geforce 6600 or ATI equivalent at least. the 5200 chugs along even with NFS underground (the first one)
