Spti layer

I am using Ripit4me and it keeps saying that Spti layer is unavailable, even if I am able to use the program correctly with all settings.
Blutach in the Ripit4me forum gave me the advice to ask to Chewy in this forum how to reinstall Spti layer if this problem is caused by corrupted Spti layer.

user accounts in control panel will show whether your login is admin or limited

if you can install programs then you are admin, if a virus or trojan has locked you out then you will have to fix it

if spti is corrupted? then it's most likely a very bad issue with filter drivers

some more information would be helpful

Yes, I have tried it without success. I think it's not an administrator right's issue. I am the administrator of my comp and the only user.

The strange is that my burners are indicated as SCSI, but they are IDE.

let's try again but turn off/unload anydvd, it plays a lot of tricks on everything to work

Yes, I have a P5B-VM motherboard, a conroe 6400 core duo processor, a sata harddisk, two external hard disks with, of course, usb connection, I have also Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120% installed.

I can only choose between ultra DMA if available and Pio mode, it looks like this:

find out which one has the opticals on it, they will be in dma 2, then see what options are available under driver tab
