Is there anything blocking airflow to the graphics card inside the case?

let's rule out heat as an issue, your tower seems awfully warm for a cooler climate, pick a time when your room temp will be cooler, direct a medium fan where it will blow air on the tower and monitor and try to get the screen to blank out

i will try that, i should tell you though, that my graphiccards fan "sucks" air from inside the tower and then blows it out at the back so the air is taken from inside, not outside.
Also there is about 10-15cm space between the graphicscards fan (pointing downwards, to the ground) and the next PCI card.

i will however try your suggestion.

        kind regards,
        jannis
