Up north Canada way, Future Shop 250 GB ComStar external, probably comes with VBTUCopy utility, or at least my 300GB did, $129.99. Ends January 18.

Dam smooth hijack if I do say so myself ...but related nonetheless
that empty space is usually a boot loader that you use to reload or recover a computer with

they have come up with a lot of screwy things over the past

usually there's a larger hidden partition that contains the actual reinstall files

Chewy heres another one for you. For 2 days in a row now after I had the laptop unplugged from the wall once for 2 hours and another time a few minutes the video driver has failed gives me a dialog box thats says something like reboot and save and then it shrinks down the entire screen to half the size of the actual monitor and the icons and everything gets really fuzzy !! When I reboot its normal but this makes me really really nervous !! what should i do try a different driver, or reinstall it. how do i know that i even have the right one ??

what do i need its an dell (go figure )inspiron 1100
this is the one I currently have.

you might just run a driver cleaner and reinstall it

looks like it was added over something else

look in system devices for the agp driver and check date against the latest from dell

i just uninstalled the old driver and reinstalled the same one again. I will see if that works but I am going to check out what you just posted

from what i can tell this is the latest driver that they have at least from the dell website and windows update keeps getting me to install the same one

very good possibility, try roll back drivers if windows has updated a component that you suspect is screwing up

remember video driver goes hand in hand with the agp chipset driver
