Annoying Music Images Keep Re-appearing

In My Music, I have some music albums (of course because that's what the folder is for) and I use some photo software that helps me delete hidden album cover images. After that, a few days later the images re-appear either as the same ones or different ones even though I haven't opened the folders for a while since deleting the images last. Some of the images have nothing to do with the albums. Why do they keep coming back? This is something like a plot from Stephen King.

I think it has something to do with Windows Media Player - it downloads them automatically, you can probably disable that in Options.

My question is, why wouldn't you want the album art? I get annoyed if mine ISN'T there!

I don't mind the odd one image that goes with an album, it's when I get loads of copies the same at different sizes. Some have nothing to do with some albums and that's what really annoys me. One time when I had a copy of a Dance album I had a picture piano player's album in there and it wasn't there before.
