Reviewer mentioned that it has no PFC; how important is this?

I am not "in the loop" as you are; Can you list a few brands that you would feel comfortable with, so I can check out the selection?

But you get what you pay for... I have basically used "cheapo" no-namers for many builds over the years, but I thought since I am doing this one "right" I would spend a little extra dough.

keep the burners to 4 and hard drives to 3 or 4 and the rosewill should work

Well, this case has (3) 120 mm fans, PS has a nice big fan (or 2), depending on the model, & CPU has Heatpipe cooling, so its' all good!

Reviews here (egg) and other places we not promising, I REALLY trust chewy in his reccomendations, he test `em and then boots `em, and he also keeps up with what other people are/are NOT having luck with so I had to make an educated guess and I went for the ultra 500 for .39 cent after filling out the amazon.com credit card form (which I'll never use after this purchase) I think I got a deal of sorts.

the thermaltake 430's don't have 10$ off anymore

(forgot the post #) you'll see that one listing about the fan I took off the alienware case and the vent cover that is green and has the alien in it!!!
If you WANT it's your FREE no money, no s&h.. nada.. It's that alienware green color but you can paint it to match anything AND BLAM! instant alienware! I know this is an older post maybe a month but all you have to do is ask and I'll gladly send it to you... It's sitting here next to my computer in the "I wish" file.

Thanks for the offer Jake, I appreciate it, but I guess I don't need it at this point...The case I did get is fairly "futuristic" looking, the fan on the front glows blue, & if my son wants an alien that bad, he can put a sticker on it! lol

It has 3 PATA connecters for a total of 6 IDE devices! Would make for an interesting setup for 6 burners(s) (at least) in the box!
