    I/O Device error...

The issues never cease... Today, I was attempting to burn an MP3 cd in Nero, loaded up my songs to burn, got to the last screen, and the button with the little flames on it "Burn", is not usable?? So I have tried the whole troubleshooter deal through windows, and tried changing the IDE settings as I read about on some other sites with no luck at all. When I put an Audio CD in it, it just whirs and flashes it's light a bit, then stops... I am unable to access it from "My Computer", it just slows windows down and sometimes will not respond even. I am curious if any of the resident masters of the PC world on here have any tidbits of advice for me... I am without any solution as of yet. Thanks in advance!!

Hey joaker, give some info about your sys! OS , what burner , is it a new sys?,where you burning perhaps an old scratched disk? Might be a prob with Nero. Can you eject drive within windows? Nero version, try uninstalling Nero with nero clean tool then reinstall, see if that helps. Try diff burning prog. Can you drag and drop file to burner and have burn successfully? if you can then it's most likely a Nero problem!!!!!
