Hello,

I'm having problems with my login in windows vista. I've forgotten my password and can not figure out how to bypass now, as my acc had admin rights. Is there a way to restore lost password or reset it?

Try rebooting into safe mode and then go in and change your password and then reboot again and log in with your new password you just made in safe mode. This works for XP so might also do so for Vista.

always make a password on the admin account easy to remember like your middle name or mother's maiden name,

probably need to run vista as a repair disk and set a new password
