Standby Key?

My keyboard has a little key shaped like a moon, that apparently puts it in standby.

Before I reformatted, I had set it up so it showed a choice, and not just did something, but forgot how to do that. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

You can set its function under Power Properties usually.
