yeah i have a feeling it was on it's last legs. it was a cheapy that came with the case and it hasn't been shut off in almost a year. this new one has dual fans and is 450W. hopefully i get another year.

Glad to hear you're up and running LT
My PSU died about a month ago, an Antec True Power 450W. Supposed to be top of the line, or close to it. Died in about 6 months, but i have a sneaking suspicion it just couldn't handle the load, what with a dual core cpu, a power hungry overclocked 7900GT, 3 large SATA drives, 2 digital TV tuners, etc. Sent it in for repair, bought an Antec 550W True Power (wasn't too happy about the price, never paid so much for a PSU). I'll have to find a use for the 450W.
