So am I understanding you correctly... it's better for the fan to be mounted in the direction so it is blowing OUTWARDS?
Also what is your opinion of those little 80mm case fans?
If I am going to build this sucka.. I'm going to do it right!

this case has an option for a 120mm rear exhaust fan, the side air duct should be pulling cool air directly onto the top of the cpu fan

you just have to build it and check the air flows

This will check for firmware for the new samsungs?
I haven't done this in a while but when I install the burner the computer will see a new drive and ask me for disk or something... right?
So I have to Install something at the time?

        Man I get confused...

Chewy what did you mean in the other post when I was asking which firmware to use off the samsung site?
"need the exact model and present firmware?".. didn't I have it?

The only part of my computer that I installed was the Lite-On, I connected it up internally as I was instructed, then switched on the computer & it took care of the rest, did not have to insert any disc. I think because my Lite-On is brand new, the firmware page could not find the specified string.

              Should be plug-n-play

Big 120's, move more air, quieter.
Check out the CPU cooler, Jake; they've come a long way since a plain 'ol heatsink w/ fan screwed down to it!

                  katz...
I've seen this board before but when you read the customer reviews.. it isn't impressive, strange for asus! I can't tell if this one had 2 ide headers on it or not...
Is this the route you went? I can't decide this or amdx2

think think think think... it's making me crazy the decisions!
                  thank ya!

                    Yes, 2

Pretty much any piece of hardware will have a mix of good & bad reviews; I have read on other sites where this is a good overclocking combo, & I will probably do that if I opt for this board.

Didn't make the purchase yet, but pretty close; after all, chewy recommended it, & that's good enough for me

Yeah, I know - a little late on the draw; after all, I am looking at year old technology to start with!
