            how do you get it to see sata drives?

            Guess so, works perfect every time. No longer use the XP disc, especially since I found it cannot create more than 3 partitions on a single hard disk.

            BTW I don't use the Live CD, but an Ubuntu CD which includes it.

                it was free I'll hang onto it and play the waiting game probaly until ar least SP2 is released . XP Home on the laptop stays for now
