Some examples I was able to find are the following (all portable softwares, i.e. softwares that doesn't require any installation, so you can check them first to see what likes you more)

Hi,
This is not totally relevant, but I can't figure out how to post a new thread. I am trying to find a program that can take a live video source from composite input and create a simple scriptable animation on top of that source. This program http://freej.org/ seems to do everything, but I can't find a way to make it take composite input (on a laptop that is). I have the hauppauge wintv pvr usb2 card, which works fine with mplayer, vlc, mythtv. But not freej. So is there any way to create an animation on top of either of the previously mentioned apps in fullscreen view? Or do you know of any other program that can do that?
